The Parents as Teachers Program (PAT) provides information, support, and encouragement to parents in need. In 2024, 179 guardians were taught to recognize developmental milestones and prepare their children for school success.
Parents as Teachers Educators teach parents the skills needed to help their children develop optimally during the critical, formative years of life by doing in-home, monthly visitations. This program is a champion for early intervention and parental involvement and serves as a unified voice for early childhood education and healthy child development. PAT also program supports a parent’s role in promoting school readiness and healthy development of children.
