What to expect:

The J.E.T. Program begins with two days of engaging workshops focused on classroom instruction in social skills. Following the workshops, students participate in four weeks of work-based learning, where they gain hands-on experience at local businesses. During this time, they receive hourly pay while developing both technical and interpersonal skills.

On the final Friday of the program, students will work until 11:15 a.m., then return to Easterseals West Alabama for a special graduation ceremony. Parents and employers are invited to attend as students celebrate their achievements and share their experiences from the program.
