September PAT unit meeting

​PAT came together to celebrate a remarkable year of success in their home visiting program, having served 175 families across 8 counties. The sense of accomplishment was palpable as they reflected on the positive impact their efforts have had on these communities. To further enrich the occasion, a speaker from River Oaks was invited to educate on the vital topic of self-care. This insightful session underscored the importance of prioritizing one’s own well-being to ensure these dedicated individuals can continue to provide the best support for the families served. As Parents as Teachers moves forward, they are committed to integrating self-care practices into their daily routines, fostering a healthier, more resilient team. The techniques in self-care learned during the session will also be beneficial to the families served by the PAT program when PAT providers can help parents facing stress in their own lives.
